YOUR STORY IS IMPORTANT

Tell Us Your Story

Your experience could be exactly what someone else needs to hear. Share your journey, your challenges, your victories, and what life without alcohol means to you.

Your Experience Could Inspire Someone Else

Everyone has a story, and no two journeys to a life without alcohol look exactly alike.

  • Maybe you’ve been alcohol-free for years.
  • Maybe you’re just getting started.
  • Perhaps you’ve discovered something about yourself along the way that you’d like to share.

Whatever your experience, your story matters. You never know who might recognize themselves in your words or find the encouragement they need to keep going. You don’t need to be a great writer, and your story doesn’t need a perfect ending. Just tell it in your own words.

Your Privacy Is Important to Us

We understand that sharing your experience with alcohol can be deeply personal. You can use your first name, initials, a nickname, or simply Anonymous. There’s no need to share your full name.

Every story is reviewed before publication, and submitting a story does not guarantee it will be published. If you later want your published story removed, you can contact us through the website.

Your email address will never be published.

A Few Guidelines for Sharing Your Story

We want this to be a welcoming, respectful space where people can share their experiences honestly. Before submitting your story, please keep these guidelines in mind:

  • Tell your own story. Share your experiences, challenges, turning points, lessons learned, or what life without alcohol means to you.

  • Protect everyone’s privacy. Please avoid including full names, contact information, or identifying details about other people without their permission.

  • Be respectful. Stories containing hateful, threatening, discriminatory, or abusive language will not be published.

  • Keep it genuine. We don’t accept advertisements, promotional content, or submissions intended to sell products or services.

  • Share experiences, not medical advice. You’re welcome to describe what helped you, but please don’t give medical instructions or recommend specific withdrawal methods, medications, or treatments to others.

We may make minor edits for spelling, grammar, clarity, length, or privacy while preserving the meaning of your story. All submissions are reviewed, and not every story will be published.
